The Miser by Moliere

Instead, he uses them to acquire more riches for himself by prearranging wealthy spouses for them. As if this isn't enough, he finds himself infatuated with the same lady that his son loves. The Desperation of Kathleen--A Whimsical Musical
An Irish lass, Kathleen, and her friend, Mary steal aboard a ship bound for New York City in order to escape a marriage, pre-arranged by Kathleen’s mother to a man her daughter has never met. Finding work as chorus girls in a Broadway musical, their lives become intertwined with “Stage-Door-Johnnys”, and Irish bounders until Kathleen’s mother arrives from Ireland with an ultimatum. The enchanting humor and familiar melodies will warm the cockles of your heart.
